Carbon Credit

What is carbon credit ?

Carbon credits are rights that are earned by reducing greenhouse gas emissions, such as carbon dioxide. These rights can be quantified and traded on carbon credit markets.

If an organization emits less greenhouse gases than the target in a given year, the difference is monetized and sold as credits to other organizations that may not be able to meet their own targets. This is the origin of carbon markets.

The First CC Exchange of Thailand

FTIX PLATFORM

The carbon credit trading platform, which is operated by the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), is the only platform that is connected to the T-VER carbon credit registry system.

Real-time trading

The trading of carbon credits is happening rapidly, driven by the forces of supply and demand.

A wide variety of products

Carbon credits that are traded are classified by project type and year, based on the registry system of the Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (GGMO). This is because carbon credits in different project types and years have different values.

Connection to the registry system

The platform has been fully integrated with the T-VER carbon credit registry system, making it easy to transfer and claim credits.
